Joining the JFMD Web Team gave us the resources to keep pace with the numerous event-based landing pages and custom HTML email templates that needed to be built. Switching web development to WordPress allowed us to develop custom templates as a project base. Web fonts gave us a better look, and Git began to allow us to manage our code more humanely.

Technical information, &c.

  • Includes: WordPress, HTML, CSS, jQuery, Photoshop, Git, Custom WordPress admin panels, icon-font set creations.
  • Ongoing integration of existing WebMD tools from Beta through Phase 2 of site launch.
  • Transform Photoshop comps to working Web pages. Work with outside vendor, remote and local Web Team to modify designs and content as needed.
  • Deliver daily status reports on work progress. Lead technical team meetings as needed, delivering notes to technical lead.
  • Development of hand-coded CSS, XHTML, XSLT.

Launch and support of My Jewish Detroit, a monthly newsletter focused on stories and events from the local Jewish community. http://myjewishdetroit.org/
